She is hardly four
And was never before
To a children park.
In her eyes a spark
A glimmer, a hope
As she moves down the slope
As she swings the swings
Like the first flight wings
Are scared of the tides
But the winds abides.
My little niece is a common girl
Pure and simple, like a pearl
Unabated, irreversible, plain
Unlike us who complain
But she fights, what a fighter!
Though lighter…still brighter!
I know she can make a good human
If nurtured well like boys
I know she will lead us
If we don’t treat her like toys
We are all equal
So what difference age make?
What difference gender make?
And was never before
To a children park.
In her eyes a spark
A glimmer, a hope
As she moves down the slope
As she swings the swings
Like the first flight wings
Are scared of the tides
But the winds abides.
